Indonesian cultures have traditions such as sangjit that usually precede a wedding ceremony. Sangjit is an offering procession performed by people of Chinese descent in Indonesia. The groom and his family will bring offerings inside sangjit trays for the bride.
The number of sangjit trays must have an even number, starting from 6, 8, and so on. Avoid using the number 4 is considered an unlucky number. Each offering has its meaning and prayer for a happy life together.
